Make a Reservation with SkyHoppersYou can make a reservation with SkyHoppers Aerial Adventures by calling toll-free 800-515-4225, or send an email to skyhopper@hotmail.com and we will call you to take your reservation. SkyHoppers accepts payment for our flight training adventures through Paypal, which accepts credit and debit cards, as well as cash or check. Reservations are best made at least one month in advance, and require a 25% deposit to confirm, with the balance being due upon your arrival in the Dominican Republic, or before the flight training excursions begin. Cancellations require a minimum 2 weeks notice in order to receive a full refund of your deposit except in the event hurricane weather is forecast. Thereafter the deposit becomes non-refundable unless SkyHoppers should have need to cancel or reschedule your reservation. After the flight training excursions begin, the deposit becomes fully non-refundable and only the remaining flight hours for the 'Getaway' and 'Lost-in-Paradise' Adventures will be refunded on a pro-rated basis as described under 'Private Packages', and then only in the event our pilot trainees become seriously ill, or if unforecast adverse weather interferes with complete utilization of the flight time afforded in these Adventures. Any balance of tach-hours remaining upon completion of the purchased number of excursions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
| Airfare, hotel accommodations, meals, and ground transportation are not included in any of the SkyHoppers Aerial Adventure packages. SkyHoppers requires that you book your flight for the Puerto Plata International Airport (IATA identifier POP) which also serves as SkyHoppers Base of operations. Americans traveling to the DR do have to pass through customs upon arrival, and the agents will perform a cursory inspection of your luggage. As of 2008, American Citizens traveling to the DR will require a valid passport, and will be issued a visa upon arrival in the country allowing you to stay for up to 90 days on the island.
